Scientists find ways to measure distance to stars
Last time, we looked at measuring distance within the solar system and to stars in our galactic neighborhood. Scientific expeditions in 1761 and 1769 included historical figures Charles Mason and Jeremiah Dixon, surveyors of the Mason-Dixon line, and British explorer Capt. James Cook.
