The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:

• A 2001 Chevy Cavalier was reported stolen Friday from outside a residence in the 2000 block of Hopewell Street. It is red with a white bumper.

• Someone stole a car stereo late Friday or early Saturday from a vehicle parked in the 800 block of Camino de Monte Rey. The left front window had been broken.

• A stereo was stolen late Friday or early Saturday from a 2005 Dodge at Capital Auto Sales, 3281 Cerrillos Road. A rear window was shattered on another vehicle.

• The remote to a car stereo was stolen Saturday from a 2000 Toyota Camry parked in the 1800 block of Lorca Drive. The right front window was broken out.

• Someone stole a Motorola flip cellphone late Friday or early Saturday from a 2005 Ford pickup parked in the 120 block of Calle Don Jose. About the same time, a 2009 Oldsmobile utility vehicle was broken into in he same area of Calle Don Jose, as was a 2000 Mazda 626. Nothing was reported stolen from either of those vehicles.

• A .22-caliber gun was stolen from a toolbox in a 1990 Ford F-250 pickup parked in the front yard of a home in the 1100 block of San Felipe Ave.

• Someone broke a window and stole a radar detector Saturday from a 2011 GMC vehicle parked in the 500 block of Guadalupe Street.

• A car stereo audio cord was stolen Friday from a 2003 Hyundai parked in the 2800 block of Pueblo Jacona.

• A Persian rug and a stereo were reported stolen early Sunday from a 1995 Mazda parked at a residence in the 2100 block of Candelero Street.

The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department is investigating the following reports:

• Someone stole a desktop computer, a laptop computer, a Wii gaming system and several items of clothing on Saturday from a home on Morning Street in the Lower Agua Fría neighborhood. The culprit entered through an unlocked door.

• Deputies were told Friday that someone stole a brown wallet containing cash and credit cards from a classroom at Santa Fe Community College. The credit cards were later used to make unauthorized purchases.
