The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:

  • Two jackets were reported stolen Saturday from a residence in the 200 block of Galisteo Street.
  • James D. Garcia, 28, of the 1500 block of Agua Fría Street, was arrested Sunday at his home and charged with battery against a household member and false imprisonment.
  • Someone tried breaking into a vending machine and an office safe at Bicentennial Pool, 1121 Alto St., between 6:30 p.m. Saturday and 9:15 a.m. Sunday. Nothing was reported stolen.
  • Zenon Lozoya-Ponce, 24, of the 1200 block of Vegas Verdes, was arrested in the 3700 block of Cerrillos Road at 11:41 a.m. Saturday and charged with resisting or obstructing an officer and driving with a revoked license.
  • Someone stole an XM satellite stereo receiver from a 1999 Ford F-150 parked in the 3400 block of Cerrillos Road between 12:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. Sunday.
  • A 2005 Chevrolet minivan was stolen from the 1000 block of Calle de Sueños between 1 and 8 a.m. Sunday.
  • A burglar stole a wallet from a 2010 Nissan Xtera parked in the 1800 block of Second Street between 5 and 7 p.m. Friday.
  • Juan Caldera, 33, of the 1200 block of Zepol Road, was arrested in the 400 block of St. Michael's Drive on Sunday and charged with burglary and larceny.
  • A digital camera and a cellular telephone were stolen from a home in the 2800 block of Cerrillos Road sometime before 9 p.m. Sunday.

The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department is investigating the following reports:

  • A TV and a laptop computer were found Saturday in the brush near a home in the Riverside Mobile Home Park where neighbors earlier saw a man kick in the door and then enter the residence with another man.
  • Burglars hauled off a 46-inch television, a 26-inch flatscreen television and an iPod from a home on Calle Jenna off Airport Road sometime Saturday.
  • Jose Rivera, 44, of Santa Fe was arrested near Mutt Nelson Road on Sunday and charged with aggravated assault against a household member.

DWI arrest

  • Christian Villeda, 41, of Santa Fe was arrested Sunday by a Santa Fe County sheriff's deputy on Nancy Trail and charged with DWI and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Speed SUV

  • Today's location of the Santa Fe Police Department's mobile speed enforcement vehicle: Atalaya Elementary School on Camino Cabra from 7:25 to 8:15 a.m. and from 2:10 to 2:55 p.m.; on East Palace Avenue between Delgado and East Alameda streets the rest of the day.
