Young Jeezy doesn't need to rap fast to rap well. As long as Jeezy says what he wants, the speed of his flow is irrelevant. This philosophy doesn't seem to translate into his musical productivity, however. Although Thug Motivation 103: Hustlerz Ambition has been a long time coming, Jeezy's steady flow of mixtapes and guest spots on other rapper's songs has kept his name in the spotlight and his fans assuaged.

Hustlerz Ambition is Jeezy's fourth album, and after 10 years, his rap career is bearing the fruits of his labor. Working with tenured producers Drumma Boy, Warren G, Midnight Black and J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, Jeezy has written some of his finest songs and beats of his career.

A cast of veteran rappers also make guest appearances on the album, including Fabolous, Lil Wayne, Jadakiss, Ne-Yo, Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z, André 3000 and Devin The Dude.

Unlike Yelawolf, whose recent album Radioactive was ruined by overproduction and a lack of focus, Hustlerz Ambition sticks to the same formula that Jeezy has cultivated over time. Combining his sparsely worded vocals with well-crafted beats and the voices of comparably talented rappers, each song relays stories of the gangster life Young Jeezy shows that he can rap better than the competition, and Hustlerz Ambition, two years in the making, was well worth the wait.
