Police notes, March 11, 2013

The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:

• Someone stole a laptop computer, a purse and a cellphone Saturday from a 2008 Honda parked outside Bikram’s Yoga Santa Fe, 1310 Monterey Drive. A passenger window had been smashed out, and a debit card that was stolen from the vehicle was later used to make unauthorized purchases at an Allsup’s store and a Giant service station.

• Two men broke into a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe parked Saturday in the 500 block of West Zia Road.

• Two rifles were stolen Saturday from a bedroom closet in a home in the 2000 block of Camino Lado. A window had been broken to gain entry.

DWI arrest

• Lorenzo R. Montenegro, 44, of Amarillo, Texas, was arrested by Santa Fe police Saturday on suspicion of aggravated driving while intoxicated and no driver’s license.

Speed SUVS

• The locations of the Santa Fe Police Department’s mobile speed-enforcement vehicles today were not available.
